This TEDx presentation by Sarah Hallberg was one of things the convinced me I could take back control of my life, lose weight and reverse my Type 2 Diabetes.

You should watch it even if you are not a Type 2 like I was, because this woman is bang on the money and she is so right when she says that reversing diabetes starts with ignoring the guidelines.

She is one of my Type 2 heroines. It is time for those in power to stop being controlled by Big Food and Big Pharma – they need to start listening to people like Sarah, Tim Noakes, David Unwin and Aseem Malhotra and stop using medicine as a way to treat the problems caused by bad food.
